Kuala Lumpur, 28 August 2025 – CARSOME Group’s education arm, CARSOME Academy, has been recently recognised with the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Centre of Excellence Award (Automotive Technical Education) at the Malaysia Education & TVET Awards 2025, marking a new milestone in its journey to advance automotive education.

The award, organised by Education + TVET Asia, an established publication approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs, recognises education and TVET institutions that demonstrate excellence in the sector. It supports Malaysia’s national TVET agenda, which aims to develop a highly skilled workforce aligned with the Madani Economy vision.

The programmes provide industry-recognised tri-certification (CARSOME Skills Certificate, CARSOME Academy Soft Skills Certificate, SKM Certificate) and hands-on experience, helping workers and youths improve career prospects in the automotive industry.

“Receiving this award is a meaningful milestone for CARSOME Academy,” said Teoh Jiun Ee, CARSOME Group Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CARSOME Academy. “It celebrates the dedication of our trainers and students, while reinforcing our mission to empower young Malaysians through TVET. Many of our graduates come from underserved backgrounds, and seeing them step into the industry with confidence and skills is the most rewarding part of what we do. At the same time, this recognition reflects our broader goal of supporting Malaysia’s vision of building a highly skilled workforce that will drive the future of the automotive sector.”
