CARSOME Academy Launches Malaysia’s First Academy-Backed M.V.15 Inspection Centre in Sungai Buloh.
Sungai Buloh, 14 Sept 2026 – CARSOME Academy today announced the launch of Malaysia's first academy-backed M.V.15 Inspection Centre in Sungai Buloh, marking a significant step towards strengthening vehicle inspection standards and automotive talent development in Malaysia. The centre was officially launched by Minister of Transport Malaysia (MoT), Anthony Loke Siew Fook, underscoring the importance of strengthening inspection standards and developing a skilled automotive workforce to support Malaysia’s evolving mobility landscape.
The new facility brings together professional vehicle inspection services and automotive training under one roof. Authorised to conduct vehicle ownership transfer inspections, the centre integrates its inspection operations with CARSOME Academy’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes, creating opportunities to develop a skilled and industry-ready automotive workforce.

As the only M.V.15 inspection provider backed by a dedicated automotive training institution, the centre places inspector competency at the core of its operations. All inspections are conducted in accordance with requirements set by the relevant authorities, with inspectors accredited under Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Inspection, providing them with technical skills and practical capabilities beyond the minimum licensing requirement.
The launch builds on CARSOME's extensive experience in vehicle inspection and ownership transfer processes. Over the years, the company has consistently achieved a 99% first-time pass rate for vehicles undergoing inspections in accordance with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) requirements. This track record reflects the strength of CARSOME's inspection processes, technical expertise and quality standards, which now form the foundation of the Sungai Buloh M.V.15 Inspection Centre.

Building on this experience, the Sungai Buloh centre has been established as a high-capacity inspection facility to support the needs of both dealers and end users across the Klang Valley, helping to address the current congestion and limited availability of inspection slots in the area. With a capacity of up to 90 inspections per day and approximately 2,300 inspections per month, the centre is equipped to handle higher inspection volumes while maintaining a transparent and efficient inspection process. Every inspection is conducted in accordance with the required government standards, with inspection records and results transmitted directly through systems connected to JPJ for greater transparency and oversight. Customers can also book appointments digitally and access dedicated customer service support throughout the process.
