Barangay or Mayor's permit

Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) / Seaman:
Proof of remittance for the past three months
Latest employment contract and passport

The documents required for inspection and on-the-spot handover depend on the encumbrance status of the item being handed over:
If the item is not encumbered (free from any liens or claims):
You will need the Original Receipt and Certificate of Registration (OR/CR) and a valid government-issued ID.
If the item is encumbered:
You will need the OR/CR, the Promissory Note and Chattel Mortgage (PNCM), and valid IDs for all parties involved.
If the original OR/CR is not yet available due to an existing loan:
You will need a statement of account from the lending institution, a photocopy of the OR/CR, and valid IDs for all parties involved.
