KUALA LUMPUR, 25 November 2021 - Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, Carsome has entered a strategic partnership with Southeast Asia’s largest lifestyle tea brand, Tealive, which sees the setting up of Carsome Inspection Points at selected Tealive outlets nationwide.

Consumers can now book a free car inspection at the selected Tealive outlets, where Carsome’s professional vehicle inspectors will conduct a thorough 175-point inspection on their cars in about 30 minutes - as fast as having a cup of bubble tea.

Carsome Co-founder and Group CEO Eric Cheng explained that the collaboration enables both companies to leverage on each other’s expertise and retail presence in diversifying benefits for consumers. “Just as Tealive revolutionized the tea culture, Carsome does the same for the car buying and selling experience through trust, transparency, and technology. This strategic partnership is part of our expansion plans to extend our strategic footprint and reach out to more customers while offering even more convenience,” Cheng said.

Loob Holding Sdn Bhd Founder and CEO Bryan Loo added, “Tealive is excited to be partnering with Carsome as we both are innovative and progressive homegrown brands in our respective fields. Now, our customers can enjoy a refreshing cup of bubble tea while their cars are being inspected. We hope that this partnership will increase traffic to Tealive outlets and diversify our customer base while strengthening brand presence for both Tealive and Carsome.”
